Disposal of waste is complicated business, and in an ever-evolving industry, it can be difficult for small businesses to find responsible solutions for commercial waste tipping.
With an increasing number of local council services in Kent disappearing entirely or subject to vastly escalated fees and impractical terms, third-party waste tipping is quickly become a significant issue. Many small businesses such as builders, tradesman and gardeners include taking smaller quantities of waste away as part of their service which can be a crucial part of winning business.
As the options for disposing of waste at licenced sites decreases, as does the number of licenced small trades who will include waste disposal within the service. That then creates an even more alarming issue – how is the waste being disposed of? It is widely known that fly-tipping in Kent is on the rise which naturally aligns with less available licenced waste disposal sites.
Here at East Kent Recycling we operate two Recycling Centres within Kent, one located in Faversham and the other in Tilmanstone, nr Dover. Whilst these are private facilities which predominantly manage waste collected via skips, containers, and other vehicles in the East Kent Recycling fleet, we are also open to third party, commercial customers to directly tip and dispose of waste. Not only does this provide crucial licenced waste tipping facilities for small businesses but also environmentally responsible solutions for small quantities of trade waste in Kent being transported by Registered Waste Carriers.
Our facilities and equipment are continuously evolving with investment in state-of-the-art technology, plant and equipment to achieve the highest possible recycling rates and direct reuse. This ensures are customers can confidently, efficiently, and responsibly dispose of customer waste.
We are open all types of commercial waste customers including building and construction companies, tradesmen, clearance companies, removal companies, other skip companies and educational institutions.
Customers must be Registered Waste Carriers and document Waste Transfer Notes for every tip to ensure all legal requirements are met.
